Driver Requirements/ Driver Training

In order to  drive a school bus you must have a B Class driver license. To obtain a B Class Driver’s License applicants must provide and pass:

A criminal check
A Ministry of Transportation medical report
A clear drivers abstract

Our course is a combination of classroom and practical driving experience on all types of roads and in difficult traffic conditions. Training includes classroom training, as well as the Defensive Driving Training Course.

Maintained Training and Continuing Education

Drivers are required to attend an update module of the defensive driving course on a yearly basis to ensure safe driving routines and defensive driving is always kept at above standard levels.

Drivers are required to undergo a yearly driver evaluation from any one of our Ministry approved driver trainers.

Computerized Scheduling Program

The list of driver requirements and tracking dates can be a daunting task. Our custom computer program allows us to easily track these dates and inform our drivers of expiry dates/reminders or Pearson requirements set by our company to ensure the most reliable and safest transportation possible.
